Thunderwolf Racquetball Club

Chartered 1992

The CSU-Pueblo Racquetball Club will be returning to the Sam Jones Sports Complex, in the Health, Physical Exercise and Recreation (HPER) building after an absence (for remodeling) of one and a half years.  The following pictures show the new construction occurring to the entrance of the west side of the building (picture on left) and the picture showing where the racquetball courts are housed on the east side of the building (picture on the right).

To celebrate the return to our facility the Club is rededicating itself to the promotion of the sport of racquetball on the college campus.  Racquetball classes will once again be taught and students will again be encouraged to play at recreational and competitive levels.  The club team will return to their 4 glass-back-wall on-campus courts and will not have to commute to a neighboring club in order to practice.  Most importantly, the club will begin recruiting a women's team.  The picture below shows the downtown YMCA, one of the sites where students have been able to play racquetball during the construction period.  Jesse Hartman, a new racquetball player, recruited from the CSU tennis team is shown standing by the entrance to the building.

Creating this web page has been a long time in the making and will further help to celebrate the reopening of our facility.  While the club has been busy becoming a major collegiate program, the absence of a web site has been a major weakness omission.  Alexander Krinsky, of Future K, has stepped up to help with the design and implementation of packracquetball.com. Look for more critical club information!
